Evolving Weather Trends in Germany: Insights from Historical Data (A MADE Summer 2024 Project)

Project Description: This project analyzes data from the German Weather Service(DWD) in relation to the change in the number of weather phenomena in the period of 1981–2021. The data shows that there has been an increase in weather phenomena. However, as this happens relatively suddenly, it is not possible to say with complete certainty that the increase is due to climate change.
