Final Thesis: Design und Implementierung eines Test Management Systems

Abstract: Computers intended for use in medical systems are subject to complex quality requirements, the fulfillment of which is critical to the safety and functionality of the overall systems. If these requirements are not captured and tested in a structured manner, there is a significant risk of unsuitable computers being released for use in medical devices. This bachelor’s thesis defines and implements a system for the structured and efficient management and documentation of requirements and test cases during the development of such computers. By integrating requirements and test cases into units termed Guaranteed Qualities, the system ensures full traceability. The introduction of a template system for these Guaranteed Qualities, coupled with the automated generation of documentation, creates significant time savings and eliminates potential sources of error. Consequently, the system enhances the quality assurance of the developed computers, increases the efficiency of the development process, and provides a foundation for further automation.
