Startups

In addition to our research and teaching, we help build software startups.

Our sweet spot are post-Master’s degree and Ph.D. student startups in the software (as a service) space, however, we are not limited to these. In general, we support high-tech startups.

Our original approach to building startups from the Bachelor and Master’s degree programs was called Startupinformatik. We have stopped supporting Bachelor and Master students due to university request, and focus on post-Master and Ph.D. students instead.

In 2020, we added the first Ph.D. student led startup to our portfolio.
