Upcoming Talk: Nils Eckervogt and Dennis Schock of Accenture on Scalable Agile Testing

Abstract: The talk will discuss the use of agile software development processes and test automation, with demos and industrial best practices for successful completion of software projects. We will explore how to ensure that the software product being developed will satisfy all requirements in a continuously changing environment and how to deal with an increasing number of tests. We will analyze which areas need to be improved to successfully implement test automation and what testing tools are available to help support software projects.

Speakers

Nils Eckervogt studied mechanical engineering at HTWG Konstanz at the lake of Constance. He is working with Accenture for a little over three years. He began his journey as a Manuel tester in the financial sectors and development in collaboration with clients test automation frameworks and POCs. He is currently focusing on POCs using open sources solutions and DevOps.Dennis Schock studied Business Administration/ Industrial Engineering at the TU Darmstadt in Germany. He joined Accenture at the beginning of 2018 with focus on Business Analysis and Testing. Since then he worked on projects focusing on the financial sector in roles as agile tester, test manager and test lead. He accompanied and supported several clients during agile transformation process and defined test approaches to cope with upcoming challenges.
