Abstract: Inner source is the application of the best practices of the open source world inside of corporations. In this talk, I will outline the basic principles of inner source, potential areas of application, its benefits and its challenges. I will also briefly introduce the InnerSource Commons Foundation and its purposes.

Speaker: Georg studied computer science at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the University of Massachussetts at Dartmouth. He has professionally developed software at companies like Daimler, Zurich and Bosch. Georg is passionate about inner source, which he introduced at Bosch and which he is promoting in the industry as a member of the InnerSource Commons Foundation.
